This book is about Seph McCauley, another sixteen year old who has a history of being kicked out of one exclusive private school after another. only his problem is not his attitude, like other children. his problem is his magic, which is spiraling out of control at a terrifyingly fast rate. and there is no one to help him. An orphaned and untrained wizard, Seph destroys things in his path, causing accidents, all because he has no control over his powers. After starting a fire at an after party, Seph is sent to Shelters, which is an isolated boys’ school. on the coast of maine. The director, Gregory Leicester, promises to train Seph and help him develop his unraveling powers. The headmaster also promises seph that he will join him in the league of wizards and wizards and seph is delighted to find his place in the world.
