While the young woman would often come to stay with Cindy and her family, she would bring her rules with her when she stayed. Cindy would also spend the night at Luann’s house and live by those rules. the girls always felt that they needed to strictly follow those rules to ensure that neither of her parents ended the relationship.
while cindy would eventually drift away from luann, in her adult life she would befriend an old amish family. miriam opened her house to cindy and the two always share great moments of laughter and dreams together. Cindy continues to build relationships with those in the Amish and Mennonite communities.
