In this novel, Clyde gets in touch with his psychic abilities when he is confronted with a case in which a Shih Tzu is left behind by a local psychic who has been murdered. This traumatized pet, her ex-llama, and her insights help her unmask the killer before someone else suffers the same tragedy as the physicist.

This book was highly appreciated and received excellent reviews, which encouraged her to continue writing more about Clyde and the Fortune Family.

This fourth book in the series written by Eastman, who believes he writes like thieves steal anecdotes, facial features, descriptions and more to add color and reality to his characters and plots.

In this novel of hers, the protagonist Clytemnestra (Clyde) Fortune of the series Fortune Family turns out to be a former police officer, who also succeeds a psychic, much to her personal chagrin. she feels that each character in her novel has a bit of her.

In his latest installment, an unhappy medium, book four in the tightly plotted series is about how clyde fortune finds himself running the fun zombie race, which has been conceptualized by his nephew. but she is a little worried about this event for the undead and she has a nagging feeling that things won’t turn out as well as she hoped.

And his hunch comes true, when one of the zombie participants is found murdered, which is soon followed by his disappearance. she and her detective boyfriend follow a trail of clues to find the killer. And with that comes a series of well-kept family secrets, complaints and theories revolving around a case of stolen diamonds and more.

Oddly enough, this novel was the most interesting novel Eastman ever wrote. Considering the book has it all right, from zombies to pirates and lots, so as eastman says, there was a lot of color and drama to write and she really had fun doing it.

Most of his series have received rave reviews for the tight plotlines and quirky characters, giving his novels a unique flavor. At present, all of his major novels are also available online on Kindle. most of his readers find his book engaging and entertaining. all of his novels are rated above four stars. Well, that might explain why this cozy mystery novelist turns out to be a national bestseller. So if you love mystery and magic, this is an author you should definitely read.
