Diane has also spent many of her growing up years in Northern Virginia and San Diego, before making North Carolina her permanent home. she studied clinical social work at san diego state university and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the same subject. Author Diane did not become a full-time writer right after she completed her graduation. Early on, she started working at various hospitals in Washington, D.C. and san diego. Later, she opened her own private psychotherapy clinic in Alexandria, Virginia, and began practicing. she specialized in teenagers.

But there were many other things that Emerson and Tara did not know about Noelle. After discovering the letter and the heartbreaking secret it contains, they begin to uncover the complex truths of Noelle’s life. She seemed to have touched the lives of Tara and Emerson, as well as the life of a completely desperate stranger with compassion, love, betrayal, and deception. Just like the previous novels written by the author Diana, this novel also became a huge success all over the world. The success of this novel, along with other similar novels, helped establish Diane as one of the notable authors. she received a lot of motivation and encouragement to write many other novels in her writing career.
