· scan the original barcode
Scanning the barcode is the most accurate method, but be careful, some retailers will cover the original barcode with their store’s upc.
· enter isbn
use your keyboard to enter isbn. the isbn is usually found on the copyright page or near the barcode on the back cover of your book scan your book cover
piggybook has a camera option at the bottom of the screen. just take a photo of the cover. piggybook sorts discover books’ vast repository of books and matches your photo to photos in our database. all you need to do is check the details of the book, such as the title, binding, publisher, and year.

· with each book scanned, you will receive a message that says “do you accept the offer?” with a sale price or “sorry, I’m not currently shopping.” You have the option to decline an offer for any book we have accepted.

· Once you’ve finished entering your books, it’s time to check out your cart. there is a $6 minimum to collect. for iphone, click/tap the cart icon at the bottom of the screen. for android, click/tap the “cart” text link at the top of the screen. at the bottom of the cart screen, click/tap “withdraw trade”. enter and confirm your paypal email. note: this may not be the same email you used for piggybook. click/tap to complete the exchange.
· shipping is free. Please check your email inbox for the USPS shipping label and shipping instructions. all that’s left to do is pack and ship your books!
things you should know:
You can only withdraw a cart once it has reached $6.00 in trades.
Due to volume and additional shipping cost, books that are refused will not be returned.
· We are not responsible for books that are damaged or lost in the mail.
· we currently only send payments through pay pal.

advanced readers copy (also known as arch)
· instruction copy, exam copy, annotated instructor editions, or any book that has any of the following: review copy, sample copy, exam copy, or not for resale
international edition (not for use in the united states)

incomplete sets
encyclopedia sets
completed or written in workbooks
· magazines, calendars or games (regardless of whether they have isbn)
Not acceptable book conditions:
water damage (or any liquid stain)
missing pages
broken spines
· writing that obscures text: highlighting, underlining, or notes in the margins
· workbooks that have something written on them
books with a bad or strong smell
· books missing their accessories please note: any book with the above conditions will not be returned and the trade offer will be deducted.
