eugenia price is an american fiction author. She was born on June 22, 1916, in Charleston, West Virginia. her parents were walter and anna price. her father was a dentist. At age ten, she wrote a poem for a literary magazine at her school after deciding she wanted to be a writer.
She was raised to belong to the Methodist church, but left when she graduated from high school in 1932 at the young age of 15. She however, finally decided to take a break from writing and become a dentist just like her father was and she took up the family trade from her.
eugenia price went to ohio university for a total of three years. She became an atheist at that time and enrolled in Northwest Dental School, where she was the only woman admitted that year. for a period of two years, she continued to study dentistry. She was hired to work on a 1939 NBC radio series called In Case of Aggie Horn.

price continued to work for the show for three more years, at which point he left nbc for another television show. Price went to work for Joyce Jordan, M.D., another radio show sponsored by Proctor and Gamble. While working there, he founded his own radio and television company in 1945. He worked at Joyce Jordan until 1946. He called the company Eugenia Price Productions and went to work developing more serial radio programs for Proctor and Gamble. /p>
however, the script kept calling out eugenia price even though she was working very hard to get into the field of dentistry. she also went through a major life change in 1949. she renounced her views on atheism and became deeply committed and involved with christianity. Price briefly considered changing careers. however, she ended up accepting a position offered to her at wgn radio to work as a producer, writer, and director for the radio series unshackled. The show was so popular that she went on to develop a speaking career that made her successful in the United States and Canada for years.
price proved to be hit or miss as another run soon began in the early fifties. It was then that an owner of the Zondervan publishing house approached her. She was able to publish a book chronicling her discovery and new commitment to Christianity in 1953 called Discoveries Made in Living My New Life.

This novel helped launch her into a career as an inspirational writer, and Price went on to write several other inspirational novels dealing with everything from self-help to advice for women to books encouraging their readers to convert to Christianity and stay away from advances recent. or statements in psychology that influence her life. even though they were published quite some time ago, many of them can be found as they are still in print.
