in “the curious case of the copper corpse”, flavia investigates the death of a naked man. she doesn’t let the fact that the corpse is naked stop her from investigating the case. this book is a short story, but she manages to get the job done.

This character has become so popular that the producers wanted to turn the books into a series. Director and producer Sam Mendes wanted to make a series of episodes based on the character. Alan Bradley wasn’t sure he would work without the right actress for the role of Flavia. she has to fit the role perfectly or she wouldn’t work. he has written it a certain way and wants it to stay as he envisioned it. Bradley must have gotten away with it because the series was created. there have been at least 10 episodes of the show. airs on British television.
