The Unwanted Series is a series of fantasy novels written by renowned American author Lisa Mcmann. There are a total of 7 books published in the series between the years of 2011 and 2015. The desired ones have the privilege of obtaining more education than the others and continue training to enter the quilitario. the necessary ones are asked to take care of farm jobs, while the unwanted ones are weeded out of everything. therefore, alex learns of his unwanted status, he wishes to die. But he finds it very difficult to leave behind his twin brother Aaron, who falls under the wanted category. he decides to make peace with his fate and then discovers that he is sent to a magical place known as artime instead of a death farm.

after arriving at artime, alex discovers that there are already many more unwanted like him living there. like them, he too is encouraged to develop his creative abilities and use the magic of his creativity to fulfill all that he has been deprived of. because of this, everything he has known in the fantasy world is changed forever and he sees it as a wonderful transformation. but, it is seen as a rare occurrence that twins are divided into wanted and unwanted. Although Aaron and Alex belong to different segments, their bond as brothers extends far beyond their separation. As a result, Artime’s very survival is threatened, forcing the twin brothers to face each other in a magical battle to dominate each other’s group. After their separation as wanted and unwanted, Alex Stowe and his brother Aaron are sent to two different lands. On the one hand, Aaron is sent to design the favored farm as a wanted and on the other hand, Alex is sent to the lake of boiling oil to endure the punishments as a unwanted. but he is welcome to the magical land of art and learn the magic of creativity and art. Soon, Aaron rises to the position of Assistant Secretary to High Priest Justine. When Justine, Aaron, and Governor Strang find out about the magical world of Artime, they plan to attack it. The Pen Army attacks Artime’s army and Aaron fights Artime’s leader named Mr. today as well as alex. but, the pen is defeated in the terrible battle and the artime is victorious. In this instance, it makes everyone believe that the unwanted are also useful people like the wanted and the needed, and their creative minds can be used in a good way to benefit the pen world.

Aaron also swears to kill anyone who gets in his way, even if it’s his own brother. The novel was very successful and helped author Lisa Mcmann become a New York Times best-selling author. it also turned out to be an intriguing page turner as readers all over the world greatly appreciated and liked the interesting story of the novel. how fat the stories of aaron and alex run parallel and give definitive account of a shocking climax. In the end, readers were left desperate for the novel’s continuation, forcing author Lisa Mcmann to write a few more novels in the series. Due to her unique style of writing and narrating the novel’s plot, she was praised by several critics as well as prominent authors and reviewers.
