snohomish county corrections provides commissary services for inmates incarcerated in our facilities. the commissary provides an opportunity for inmates to purchase personal hygiene items, snacks, and some clothing items. inmates pay for these items using money deposited into their account. inmates may also incur debt (ie medical expenses, haircuts, etc.). if money is deposited into an inmate’s account that has a debt, 60% is applied to the debt and 40% is applied to the inmate’s account.
Commissary earnings are deposited into an inmate welfare fund. this fund is used to purchase recreational items for inmate use. it also pays for television, cable services, newspapers, etc. the salaries of the staff that manages the commissary are also paid from this fund.

Inmates can order commissary once a week. Orders are placed every Saturday and processed on Sunday morning. money must be placed in an inmate’s account by 11:00 p.m. m. on Saturday for the inmate to receive commissary the following week. commissary delivery also occurs one day a week, Tuesday through Friday, depending on the inmate’s housing unit (if an inmate’s housing unit changes, the day their commissary delivery may also change). /p>
Family and friends can order hygiene items, underwear and writing instruments for an inmate online or by calling 800-546-6283. Customer service hours are Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. m. to 9:00 p.m. m. and Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. m. to 2:00 p.m. m. items ordered online will be delivered next week during regular commissary delivery.

To deposit money into an inmate’s account, you can do so by phone, internet, through the us. uu. mail or directly at the inmate account window in the jail reception area. for deposits made by phone, internet or mail, you will need to know the inmate’s cin number or global issue number which can be found on the jail register.

deposits by phone/internet
You can deposit money into an inmate’s account over the phone or online. this service is called secure deposit access and is available 24 hours a day. To access this service you can call 866-345-1884 or visit the Access Corrections website. accessing secure deposits allows you to make credit or debit card deposits that are automatically posted to an inmate’s account within 5 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. access secure deposits charges a non-refundable fee for this service which is paid by the customer. accessing the secure deposits online form requires the provision of the inmate’s 7-digit identification number or global issue number; this number can be found in the jail register.

Effective May 1, 2022: With the change in processing inmate personal mail deposits will no longer be accepted through the mail.
Payments must be made in the form of a money order or cashier’s check. personal checks are not accepted and sending cash through the mail is discouraged. Money orders and cashier’s checks should be made payable to Snohomish County Corrections, or SCC. please do not put the inmate’s name on the payment line of the money order/cashier’s check; we will not be able to collect it. instead, clearly print the inmate’s name and global issue number in the note or memorandum field on the money order/cashier’s check so that the funds can be posted correctly. send funds to: inmate name & inmate number (cin # or gsn #) c/o snohomish county corrections 3025 oakes ave.everett, wa 98201

cash deposits, cashier’s checks or money orders are accepted between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. m. and 10 p.m. m., 7 days a week at the inmate account window at the main jail facility at 3025 oakes avenue in everett. money orders and cashier’s checks must be completed as described.
