What payment methods do you accept?

when we send you an invoice, you will be able to see all the payment methods available to you. For ordersover $800,we canaccept wire transfer only for payment. if this applies to your order, we will send you an email with more information about it. transferwise is compatible with visa, mastercard and apple pay. check out our guide to using transferwise here!

What currency can I pay in?

all orders must be paid for in US dollars ($). Unfortunately, we are unable to accept payments made in any other currency, including Korean Won (₩).

Can I cancel my order before it ships?An order can be canceled free of charge only if the item has not yet been purchased. If you wish to cancel your order after we have purchased your item, there will be a charge of 30% of the total amount.

what is the shipping rate for my country?

  • store orders:

We offer free worldwide shipping on all items in our store. *in cases where the shipping address is in a remote location, we may ask customers to pay a small additional amount to cover the additional shipping fee incurred. for this (non-exhaustive) list of countries, a minimum purchase of $199 is required for free shipping. If the total amount is less than $199, a small surcharge will be applied at checkout to cover the additional shipping fee incurred:

Each custom order has its own calculated shipping rate, based on the country and weight of the item. fill out our personalized request form and our team will provide you with a free quote for your order.

Who do you ship with?

we use fedex, dhl and region specific door to door services.

If you have a preference, please let us know and we will try to ship with this courier.

for malaysia/singapore addresses:

We use regional door-to-door services for these countries, which allows for faster shipping time and lower costs.

for the rest of the world:

for most countries, we use dhl worldwide express or fedex. average transit time is 5-7 business days.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

From the date you place your order with us, it normally takes 4-10 business days to receive your item in our warehouse from the Korean supplier. Please note that in certain cases it may take longer depending on the supplier or if it is a pre-order item. then the transit time mentioned above applies after we ship it from our warehouse.

How will I know when my order has been shipped?

As soon as our team has shipped your order, a confirmation email with a tracking number will be sent to you.

can you ship to a Korean address?

We are unable to ship to a Korean address and can only ship orders to locations outside of South Korea.

Do you have an address forwarding/rental service?

We are unable to offer an address rental service. As a registered export company, we can only ship items that we have purchased ourselves.

Can I combine orders?

We can combine orders, however, we cannot combine more than two. send an email to support@harum.io with the two order numbers you want to send together.

I’m going to buy a fragile product. how will it be packaged?

Our team is specially trained to prepare fragile items for international shipments. We keep the item in its original packaging and add our own protection as needed, to minimize the risk of damage during transit.

I need to change my shipping address. how can i do this?

Send an email to support@harum.io with your order number and new shipping address so we can update your details in our system.

it is cheaper to choose an unregistered shipping service. can i do it?

all of our shipping methods include a tracking number. We strive to provide customers with better and safer service, so we do not offer services that do not provide any tracking number.

what is your return policy?

harumio provides korea proxy service and therefore all items sold are non-returnable and non-refundable.

what happens if my items are damaged upon receipt?

contact us at support@harum.io and we will do our best to help you.

Is there a guarantee on my purchases?

If your item comes with a warranty, you must claim it from the manufacturer. email support@harum.io for help with this. Please note that you may need to send the product to Korea for repair.

customs duties & taxes

Do I have to pay customs duties/taxes?

Some countries may have import taxes and it is the customer’s responsibility to pay these taxes (where applicable). unfortunately we can’t advise customers on how much this will be, so be sure to check your own country’s import tax policy.

What happens if I reject or refuse to sign for packages?

Customers will be charged an amount for the original shipment plus the return fee if packages are refused for any reason, except in cases of customs duties and taxes due, in which case we cannot offer any refund.

can you declare my packages at a certain value/as a gift?

We are a Korean registered company and operate in accordance with Korean export laws. We do not condone underpricing/declaring the price of items as it is illegal and any country will consider it contraband. Similarly, we cannot declare items as ‘gifts’ solely for the purpose of avoiding import taxes.

Are the books in your store in English or Korean?

all books available on harumio are in Korean, with no English translation, unless otherwise specified in the product description of that item.

How do I know I am buying an original product?

All of our items are 100% authentic and purchased directly from official Korean vendors. You can check out our Instagram (@harumiokorea) to see stories of our team visiting stores in Seoul and buying items for our customers.

will an item be restocked?

Unfortunately, as a proxy service, we do not receive information from official providers about whether they will restock items in the future. however, we make sure to update our store whenever a supplier releases new stock. Follow us on our social networks to stay updated!

How do I know my Korean shoe size?

your Korean shoe size is the length of your feet in centimeters and there is no distinction between men and women for the Korean size. our size chart is for reference only. For the most accurate measurement, you should measure your own feet in cm. Please note that we will not be able to accept returns, exchanges or refund your orderif the wrong size has been purchased.

can you send…?

skincare/perfume/cosmetics: We can ship these items, except products that contain alcohol. If you’re unsure about the ingredients of an item, include it on your custom request form and we’ll check for you.

  • skins: we can now export skins from korea.
  • Furniture: Although it is possible to ship furniture, please note that shipping costs will increase for these items.
  • Food: We are unable to ship any food products that spoil easily or require low temperature storage, e.g. meat, dairy

I want to buy in a physical store. do you have an offline service?

we can buy products in physical stores, including temporary stores, in seoul. Please complete our custom request form and provide details of the store and the items you wish to purchase.
