Soneji has kidnapped two children and Cross is removed from the homicide to cover up the kidnapping. Soneji attacks again and kills an FBI agent who has been talking about Soneji on TV. Cross tours the apartment and discovers Soneji’s obsession with kidnapping and his dream of becoming famous as a criminal.
