joann ross specializes in writing about life, family and romance. she has a passion for reading, cooking, taking care of rescue dogs, and making cards. She was born in the United States on July 25 and decided to be a novelist when she was 7 years old. she developed that passion because when she was younger, her grandfather would tell her a lot of irish tales, which motivated her to write her first novel when she was so young. Her grandfather’s teachings of telling her to always think big made her have youthful fantasies, and one of those fantasies was about going to a New York publishing house and handing over her great American novel. the editor will be totally amazed at how brilliantly she could write. she will then launch her career and achieve commercial and emotional success. When she has achieved her success, she will go live among other famous and wealthy novelists on Cape Cod. Those plans ultimately didn’t work out for her the way she had envisioned. she has had to write a wide range of articles, including newspaper articles and advertising copy. but writing for a newspaper like the metropolitan made her feel constrained by the rigid nature of what she has to write. That’s when it occurred to her that writing newspaper articles wasn’t her main goal: her main goal was to create interesting stories, stories that she could share with her friends, family, and everyone else who was interested. p>

He has continued his passion of writing about love, family, redemption and loyalty. it constantly reminds her that she is, in fact, following in her grandfather’s footsteps because when he told her tales, the heroes and heroines succeeded in undertaking a quest despite all the odds that make it seem impossible. Also in those tales, the wicked are destroyed, the lovers unite, the punishment was served to the wicked, and in the end, everyone gets justice. She continued to write and has now written more than 95 novels since 1983, earning her recognition on the Romance Writers of America honor roll as a best-selling author. It has been published in some twenty-six countries, including France, Russia, and China.

Although she had initially been passionate about becoming a center fielder for the New York Yankees, she later planned to return to writing as a second occupation after her retirement. But when she was waiting for Yankees management to call her, she came up with her first story for second grade homework. the novel was a tragic romance that told of two mallard ducks crossed by the stars. after her second grade teacher rewarded her for her work and that encouraged her to continue writing. Two excerpts of her work have been excerpted in Cosmopolitan magazine, and some of her books have been published by major publishers such as Rhapsody, Doubleday, Mystery Guide, and Literary Guide Book Clubs. She has won a host of awards, including RT Reviews’ Career Achievement Awards, which she won in both the Romance and Contemporary Single Title categories. She was also named the RWA Career Mentor of the Year and received the RWA National Service Award.

Her mother’s remarriage forced her to move to remote southern oregon. They didn’t have much TV there because the mountains blocked TV signals, so most people there had to find alternative ways to have fun. when she was 10 years old she took some children to the house where cattle are slaughtered; she was able to convince those kids that the blood on the floor actually came from Girl Scouts who were killed. During high school, she found joy in interviewing some of the local celebrities there. she did this every week on the afternoon tv show. she also worked as a magician’s assistant at the time, though she won’t say how some of the magic happens. She is convinced that Dylan’s Blowin’ in the Wind is one of the best songs ever written, she hates Puff the Magic Dragon and has parachuted over the Arizona desert.

Twice she has married her high school sweetheart. She currently lives in the Pacific Northwest of Tennessee in the United States with her husband, along with her three rescued dogs. when she feels like writing, she gets her inspiration from the beautiful view of the misty and smoky mountains from her home office windows.

Under the name Joann Robbins, she has written eight novels published between 1983 and 1986 and two Dreamlover series, both published in 1984.
