“Chosen One” is the first novel in the “Warrior Chronicles” series, which was published in 2014. Shanti grew up under the threat of constant war. after she helped her people defeat a raiding party using a special power she has, she has been hunted down. With uncanny fighting ability and rare abilities, she is the only hope of salvation for her people. The problem is that she doesn’t believe in her own divinity, and when she fights, she nearly collapses from the duty that weighs so heavily on her shoulders.

It seems like any other day when sanders and his group of misfit boys find this foreign woman clinging to life in the badlands. Unaware of the weapon in her possession, they are simply content to harbor this mysterious woman until she is well enough to continue her own journey.

As the war begins to spread and lands on her borrowed doorstep, Shanti has no choice but to reveal her secrets, thrusting her rescuers straight into danger. if they join her, they will face certain death. exchanging her with xandre, who is the warlord desperate to add her to the rest of his war machine, would be giving up her way of life. a war is coming. the only choice remains: which side will you choose?

Readers enjoyed this book and found the main idea to be excellent, as was the story in general. Shanti is amazing and kicks a lot of ass in the book. Cayan is a character that the readers also enjoyed as he is magnificent and became a fantastic leader.

“Hunted” is the second novel in the “Warrior Chronicles” series, which was published in 2015. A new chosen one appears and Shanti loses sight of her duty. Her plans are falling apart and she does the only thing she can think of: free her brother and a mysterious stranger from a graygual camp before returning to beg Cayan for help.

Unfortunately for her, that stranger was guarded by one of the elite and precious to the enemy. Hunter, being a superior officer, is someone who always catches her prey, and now her attention is focused on the slippery, violet-eyed lady and the guy who snatched her off her hands.

The danger increases, and one of the best is constantly after her, shanti will learn that running will never be enough. she will unite them with the suffering she has endured and guide them with her love.

Things are much darker in this book than in the first book in the series, which makes this a stellar read. fans found themselves unable to put the book down for long and were glad there are more books to come.

“shadowlands” is the third novel in the “warrior chronicles” series, which was released in the year 2015. shanti has to go through an ancient system to test her fighting skills, ability to stay alive and his battle consciousness. this is in an effort to finally reclaim the title of chosen one and bring the shadow people out of the land of mist. shanti is going to enter the tests and she will have to do it alone.

Cayan, who is separated from Shanti on a dangerous island, has to use his own mental ability while keeping his men safe from the people who have set out to kill them. As more Inkna and Graygual hit the island, Cayan learns of a sinister force that lies deep within the forest. they are rigging trials and killing anyone who gets too close. this is now a race against the clock. The fight to become the chosen one has begun, and the winner is far from decided.

shanti is a wonderful character who constantly pushes boundaries and makes people sit up and notice her at all times. it’s great to see her and fall for her as they’re both on the same page after putting her differences behind them and having it all figured out.

“invasion” is the fourth novel in the “warrior chronicles” series, which was published in 2015. the hunter was never trained to admit that he was defeated.

The title of chosen one has been secured, and Shanti and Cayan have to figure out what the next steps are to take their freedom from the deadliest tyrant in all the land. however, they are not the only ones with their own agenda.

they have no mental power to defend themselves, the lands of westwood remain within their own walls. a new power arises, under the threat of torture before eventual death. being found out will mean death. however, doing nothing is not an option for them.

With each one that comes out, the books just keep getting better, and for some, this is their favorite of the entire series.
