In the opening sequence of the novel’s plot, Cassandra Ryan is depicted as lost and alone in her grief. her life was tragically rocked in an accident about 10 years ago and to add to her grief, her beloved grandmother has just lost her life. with her death, cassandra feels that she has lost everything dear to her life. however, her life is turned upside down after a mysterious and unexpected legacy from her late grandmother.
