Kathleen Fuller is one of America’s best-selling authors, specializing in writing novels based on Amish and Christian romance. In addition to this, she also likes to write books based on the genres of historical fiction and contemporary romance. Author Fuller was born on September 11, 1967, in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. She spent most of her time growing up in Little Rock, Arkansas. As of today, the author Fuller lives in Geneva, Ohio, along with her husband named James Fuller and 3 beautiful children. While she was a homemaker and caring for her three children, author Fuller became very attached to Christian fiction books. finally, she decided to try writing her own book. and subsequently, she began to write her first book in the year 2000. a year later, the author fuller was able to publish her first short story. By 2003, she successfully published her debut novel titled Encore Encore, and the following year she managed to publish her first full-length book, which was released under the title Santa Fe Sunrise and published by Avalon Publishing. After that, the author Fuller did not stop and she continued to write several novels, short stories, novellas, as well as some independent works of non-fiction.
A major change in author Fuller’s writing career occurred when Thomas Nelson publishers offered her a major contract. She was given multiple opportunities to write and participate in a series of novels based on the Amish romance genre. One of the novels written by author Fuller under this contract was titled A Man of His Word. It was published in the year 2009 and became an ECPA and CBA bestselling novel. This was followed by the successful release of an anthology titled An Amish Christmas. This anthology also featured one of her novels and later became a cba, ecpa and cbd bestseller. In total, she has written more than 30 books in her writing career so far. many of her book series are in the form of trilogies. Author Fuller has mentioned in her interviews that she was greatly inspired by the successful works of authors such as Liz Curtis Higgs, Bodie TheOne, Francein Rivers, and Brock TheOne. This inspiration of hers allowed him to attempt to write her own romance books and gain well-deserved success in her life. In addition to writing romance and contemporary novels, author Fuller has also worked for some time as an editor. her academically, she has graduated with a master’s degree in special education, which places an emphasis on teaching blind and visually impaired people. author fuller also has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. she has even worked as a teacher of all ages, from 4 to 18 years old. One of the most successful series of novels written by author Kathleen Fuller is known as the Midfield Family series. This series consists of a total of 3 books, which were published between the years 2011 and 2013. The first book in this interesting series is titled ‘Treasuring Emma’. It was published by Thomas Nelson Publishers in 2011. The main characters in this book are Emma and Adam, and the author Fuller has described Emma as someone who always puts the needs of others before her own. her but she always waits for the day when others treasure her. At first, Emma is depicted as having her best friend and first love in the form of Adam. but he left her and went away from her. he seemed more determined to experience a free life living in the world of the english and therefore he left emma heartbroken. Emma couldn’t believe that Adam chose the world over her. but, when she returns to midfield, she couldn’t get her away from her family’s farm. however, she seems determined to keep her heart on guard and not lose heart. And for Adam, it seems like it’s either her love for her Emma that brought him back to her or the guilt that he didn’t do the right thing by leaving her for the English world. Then a newcomer arrives in midfield and begins to show an interest in Emma. when adam finds out, he tries to tell emma to be wary of her intentions. but, she dismisses her insistence all the time and she is also attracted to the newcomer. all the attention from the new man in her life feels very new to emma and he doesn’t quite know how to handle it. one thing she knows for sure is that her heavenly father treasures her. but she can’t say the same for the newcomer in her life.
The second book to follow in the series was released under the title of ‘True to Laura’. It was also published by Thomas Nelson Publishers in the year 2012. The central characters featured in this book are Laura Stutzman, Mark King and Sawyer Thompson. In the opening sequence, author Fuller has shown that Laura Stutzman leaves her community in Kentucky and moves to Middlefield, Ohio in search of a man named Mark King. mark is the one who had promised to love her all her life, but he left her. the only thing laura wants from him is an explanation of why she left her and without that she can’t move on with her life. Sawyer Thompson then enters the plot and is described as a Yankee who used to live in an Amish home during his teens. after growing up, he is asked to make a life decision for himself, which is to join the church or return to his former life in the amish community. When he learns of Laura Stutzman’s story, he understands his anger because he, too, suffered a loss at a very young age. However, unlike Laura, he seems willing to follow God’s will and forgive. And as Laura and Sawyer’s friendship begins to grow, Laura begins to show some changes in his behavior and lets her guard down as well. But, when new information about Sawyer’s past life emerges, it tends to threaten the two’s budding friendship. they both realize in the end that they have to let go of the anger their hearts are building up and forgive everyone who has hurt them. Now, it’s up to Sawyer to try to stay true to Laura as she struggles to build her trust in God.
