Kit Morgan is an author of romance novels, time travel, and Christian fiction from the Pacific Northwest. Since he published his debut novel in 1995, his novels have consistently been on various Top 100 lists under the names of Geralyn Beauchamp and Kit Morgan. she has said that she has been writing since she was very young and can’t remember a time when she wasn’t writing. Like Geralyn Beauchamp, she writes adventure and epic romantic fantasy. Like Kit Morgan, she is best known for writing sweet, inspiring, funny, and quirky stories that often represent a sense of community and family. As Kit Morgan, her debut novel was “His Prairie Princess” which spawned the “Prairie Brides” series of novels set in Clear Creek, Oregon. she has said that she has been writing since she was a child and there is nothing she would rather do than tell stories. she while she was the daughter of a homicide detective and you would expect her to write investigative crime fiction or something, she prefers to write funny whimsical stories and romantic westerns. Morgan currently lives in a small log cabin in the Pacific Northwest in a small town called Clear Creek that is the setting for Ella’s series Prairie Grooms and Prairie Brides. She has also written the Christmas mail-order novels, mail-order brides, the Bainbridge Sisters, Jones’s of Morgan’s Crossing, Fall Into Romance, Prairie Tales, Cowboy Holiday Romance, and Matchmakers in Time.
Before becoming an author, she worked as a book reviewer for five years, something she loved as she was a voracious book reader. she had found the perfect excuse to read and it wasn’t long before she knew what a good book or bestseller was and wanted to write herself. Her work as a book reviewer made her become friends with many authors who would encourage her to write her first novel “the call” of the “masters of time” series. Julia Quinn, one of her best friends, challenged her to write something and, to everyone’s surprise, she had written her first novel in a year. Although he finished writing the novel in 1995, he only did so to prove a point, as he placed the manuscript in a trunk where it remained until it was published in 2007. Currently, the novel is available in both hardcover and digital formats that it was published by “time masters.” In addition to her love for reading and writing, she also likes to knit yarn, she loves coffee and she is crazy about chocolate.
