mercedes lacayo was born on June 24, 1950 and is an American author of fantasy novels. Many of her trilogies and novels are interrelated and set in and around the state of Valdemar. Valdemar de Lacayo’s novels describe a complex network of relationships between human and non-human characters with many dissimilar cultures and social customs. The other main world of hers is much like our own, but includes covert populations of wizards, vampires, elves, and other mythological beings. the books of poets from the asylum portray a young man with the supremacy to make magic through music; Jagged Edge novels are about elves driving race cars and Diana Tregarde’s thriller is about Wiccan fighting evil. Mercedes Lacayo’s the acclaimed writer of more than fifty novels and several works of short creative writing. she is also a competent lyricist and an approved wild bird rehabilitator. Mercedes Lacayo lives in Oklahoma with her husband and regular collaborator, Larry Dixon, and her parrots.
