miguel j. Sullivan is an American epic fantasy and science fiction novelist, best known for his introductory series, The Riyria Revelations, which has been deciphered into fourteen dialects.
He has composed three series. Riyria Revelations and Riyria Chronicles were distributed by Orbit Books and First Empire by King Books. The Riyria Revelations is a six-book epic fantasy series, while the Riyria Chronicles is an ongoing series that focuses on the early ventures of the two main heroes of the Riyria Revelations. The First Empire is a five-book epic fantasy series set in the same world as Riyria’s books, but in an inaccessible past, making it a standalone series. In it, Michael investigates the difference between myth and reality as the genuine story of Élan’s past is uncovered. His first science fiction novel, Hollow World, was released by Tachyon Publications in April 2014.
like other sullivan’s street, becoming a creator was not easy. he wrote in a mix of ratings between 1979 and 1994 and after thirteen novels and over a hundred firings, he quit; vowing never to compose innovatively again. which lasted almost 10 years. In the midst of that time, a story had been brewing in his mind and he chose to compose it on one condition: that he not seek distribution.

In this standalone tale, Royce is determined to teach his gullible accomplice a lesson in great deeds. Information from neither the Riyria Revelations nor the Riyria Chronicles is required to fully appreciate this short story. furthermore, this later became the second section of the rose and thorn.
professional integrity
It’s been quite a while since war-weary contract soldier Hadrian and skeptical ex-professional assassin Royce joined forces to start their thieves-for-hire association also called Riyria. things have been going well for the group as they perform tasks for the nobles all along. normally that means a drink, but when a young heiress asks to be taken away. that is the first time for the couple. You don’t need to know either Riyria’s Revelations or Riyria’s Chronicles to fully appreciate this short story.

They arranged a larger meeting. they had the element of amazement. there was no reason to worry. but they did not understand who they were leading.
