nancy mitford is a british fiction author.
was born on November 28, 1904 in the United Kingdom in London. she is known to be an English biographer and novelist. She was known to be one of the bright and beautiful people who made up the youngest group on the social scene in London during the interwar years.

nancy is known for writing her several books about life in the upper class in france and england. There were four novels that came out after 1945. The author also wrote the biographies of many historical figures, which were well received and thoroughly researched. She was the first of her family to make her eccentric English family life public, sparking the creation of the Mitford Industry.
nancy also worked as a journalist for a time. he had a privileged education and went to a private school. Before his first book came out in 1931, he had never received any formal training. he made an early effort, but the books of his that came out after this first novel didn’t get much attention. She got her reputation established by the 1945 novel The Search for Love and the 1949 novel Love in a Cold Climate.
She would marry Peter Rodd in 1933. However, the marriage did not last and after being separated for a while they divorced in 1957. When World War II broke out, she began dating Gaston Palewski, a free French officer who would become his love for life. When she settled in France after the war ended, she lived there until she passed away.

His years of life later had successes and setbacks. His relationship with Gaston failed but his biographical books sold quite well. however, the author’s health would worsen from the sixties and she nancy she spent years sick and in pain before she died on June 30, 1973.

The second novel Love in a Cold Climate was adapted for a television miniseries twice in 1980 and 2001.
