As a writer, she tends to write from the seat of her pants with little idea of where she’s going with each scene, often with the entire book as a whole. Ella Natalie finds that this helps her maintain a real suspenseful feel in all of her work because she, honestly, has no idea how, or even if, her characters will ever get out of the mess she’s gotten them into. .
In terms of editing, however, there are a few methods it uses. she follows the hero’s journey and thinks this is a great way to assess a manuscript for holes. she also uses the freytag pyramid and sometimes the three act structure. Natalie will also use things like timelines, coding, and collages. when she gets stuck or is editing something difficult, she tries just about anything and finds that each book ends up being a little different.

fans liked chloe, finding her down to earth, intelligent, and an entirely memorable character. the first chapter does a great job of hooking you into the novel, and in the second, some find themselves lost in this world and this story.
“Gone Too Far” is the second stand-alone novel and was published in 2015. Keeping secrets ruined her life. however, the truth could kill her.
piper woods can’t wait to finish the purgatory that is the last year of high school. she skirts the fringes of high school like a pro. until she discovers a notebook with some mutilated photos and a list of student sins. She’s sure the book is too scary to be true, until the popular and pretty Stella dies after a sex tape goes viral. Everyone is sure it was a suicide, however, Piper remembers seeing Stella’s name in the book and begins to suspect that something much worse happened.
Piper, drowning in some secrets she no longer wants to keep, has fears that are confirmed when she receives an anonymous text message daring her to make things right. she just needs to pick a name, the name of someone who deserves to be punished.
The who’s behind it all part of the story is well done and kept some readers on their toes. piper is a nice character and tries to do the right thing at all times. the novel flows well and takes a close look at life in high school.

“my secret to tell” is the third stand-alone novel and was published in 2015. emerson may is “the good girl” as she is the caring friend, the perfect daughter, and the animal shelter volunteer. however, her best friend’s brother bursts into her room with blood on his hands, she doesn’t call the police or scream. When Deacon smiles at her, she doesn’t want to be nice.
The whole town believes that Deacon, a notorious troublemaker, is guilty of assaulting his father. he alone emmie knows a secret that could set him free. if he follows his heart, he could be trusting an assassin.
You can’t always trust the boy next door.
emmie is a great hero, sweet and a little neurotic, and someone you really want to be friends with. her jokes with her deacon are very funny and natural. the mystery was big on this too, and it made readers turn the pages as fast as they could.
“one was lost” is the fourth independent novel and was released in 2016. misleading. damaged. Dear. dangerous. are these labels or just a warning? the answer may cost sera everything.

suddenly it becomes clear that they are being persecuted. With the only positive word on her wrist, Sera quickly falls under suspicion.
