natasha lester when natasha lester was just a girl, she loved escaping into the world of a story. She also loved creating her own books of her own and wondered what it would be like to make readers feel exactly like she did when she was lost in a book.
However, when he left high school, there were no creative writing degrees in colleges. she natasha did not know how to become a writer. so she completed a degree in marketing and public relations and for the next ten years she worked for companies such as l’oreal in australia as a marketing manager for maybelline. she had so much fun doing this job and she had more lipstick than anyone could ever need. it just wasn’t what she wanted to do. she one day she quit this job and went back to college to study creative writing.

The first thing Natasha submitted for publication was this poem, which was immediately accepted and was the best hundred dollars she had ever won.
It wasn’t easy, as she had three babies in the five years it took to write her first novel. and her manuscript was rejected many times. She just loved writing, so she went through all the babies, the doubt, and the rejections.
Finally, someone believed in her first book as much as she did, and she ended up winning the Taghungerford Prize for Fiction for “What’s Left, After.”
Natasha has received grants from the Council of Australia for her work, as well as writing residencies from the Varuna House of Writers and the Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers Centre.

started writing historical fiction in 2016 and combines her passion for research, history, fashion, travel and writing stories about women who paved the way.
When she’s not writing or reading, she loves going to yoga, traveling, collecting vintage fashion, playing dress-up with her three children, and practicing the art of fashion illustration. Natasha also loves giving writing courses.
