She finished writing work on the first book of the deal at the end of the year 2005. It was titled as ‘The Glamorous Life’. After that, author Turner went on to edit a collection of short stories known as “Street Chronicles: The Takings of Da Hood.” One World publishers were very pleased with author Turner’s work and therefore re-signed her to a 3-book deal. In the first story, author Keisha Ervin describes the lives of Queen and Sean Pynn. Sean is a notorious rapper and the queen is married to him. but, her life doesn’t seem to be as glamorous as it seems. the queen is forced to deal with verbal abuse and indoor fights with her husband. however, everything starts to change as soon as her bodyguard named ahsim enters the scene. The second story revolves around the life of a private investigator named Rochel Thomas or ‘Jakki’. Whenever a woman feels like her man is cheating on her behind her back, Jakki is the first person she calls. His ways of catching a cheating man are a bit risky, but his service is worth every penny he gets from his clients. In the following story, Niecy and Naquel Brickhouse are portrayed as twin sisters, who seem to be living quite a glamorous life. Soon, Naquel is murdered by her older sister’s boyfriend and makes it look like suicide. Intent on revenge for her sister’s death, Niecy embarks on a dangerous path. Niecy tries to find and kill this man as soon as possible so she can overcome his depression and live his life in peace.
