Paige knows the ugly truth; that doomsday will dawn in four short months unless they can uncover a truth that could save all, buried in the ruins to come.
Paige and Travis will have to make the difficult decision to cross into ghost country, knowing they may never return.
ghost country is the second novel in the patrick lee series; and it is a difficult novel to hate. Patrick’s words conjure up very powerful and horrifying images of a truly dead country. the action sequences are so epic and fluid that they almost feel cinematic, especially with all the firefights.
and reveals are brilliantly handled, designed to shock and confuse; never rushed and rarely out of place. Admittedly, for many readers, the novel fails to capture the epic bounty of its predecessors. even given the high expectations, too many questions remained unanswered; though that doesn’t make the novel any less impressive.
