Nicole is suspected of stealing something from her plastic surgeon uncle and then killing him in a cold-blooded affair. To get help on the case, Nina decides to enlist the help of a private investigator named Paul Van Waggoner. Paul is also Nina’s ex-lover, who seems to be hiding his own personal secrets from her. Paul’s investigation reveals that the plastic surgeon’s son also died in a plane crash the same night the surgeon was killed. After that, Nina manages to uncover the twisted lies and also the seething mystery related to some ex-patients of the surgeon and a couple of old crimes.
