Ella Mckinley has said that the Damar Land stories have come to mind since before she began work on Ella’s initial novels. Most of the heroines that author Mckinley has described in her books reflect some special qualities that she used to see in herself during her younger days. Ella McKinley says that she often likes to write about strong heroines because she believes that girls have great potential to do things on their own. she also feels that the literature she introduces to the female leads is quite minor and unsatisfying.
