Under the middle name of Lynn, Brown was born on March 12, 1948 in Waco, Texas USA. She spent her early childhood days in Fort Worth. she then went to texas christian university where she majored in english. In 1968, before completing her college degree, she left to get married.
Her husband, Michael Brown, was a television host and his film production jobs have earned him accolades. her production of the documentary dust by dust led to awards in the film industry. together, they live in arlington, texas.
Like most of her fellow writers, Brown was involved in several other ventures in life before finally establishing herself as a writer. She took up modeling, worked for Dallas Clothing Mart, but later got into television. She served on KLTV in Tyler as a weather news anchor. Thereafter, she returned to the Dallasfortworth metropolitan area and got a job as a reporter for wfaa-tv.
Finally, in 1981, her writing career began after Brown’s husband challenged her to do so. from that point forward, it has been bestseller after bestseller.
