According to their facebook page and website, 2nd and charles buys and sells used books, comics, collectibles/action figures, toys, music (including vinyl), movies, video games, gaming systems, audio books, and more. .
“One of the things that I feel makes us superior,” said General Manager Marie Weaver, “is that we have used products in great condition, so you can buy them for less than retail. public. makes it a little cheaper. allows parents to stretch their money a little further.”

the book end bookstore is located at 119 n. marine boulevard. in jacksonville according to its facebook page, it’s a neighborhood bookstore with a variety of like-new books.
“I’ve been in this building since 1986, so I know my books,” said store manager James Kent.
He also said he currently has quite a few hard-to-find vintage Christmas books for those looking for something else to wrap under the tree.

The Finders Keepers Thrift Store in Jacksonville is located at 1241 Hargett St.
finders keepers, according to the onslow womens center website, “supports the onslow womens center safe house and other services provided by the agency through the sale of donated merchandise.”
Some of this merchandise includes books.

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet
Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is located at 1126 Henderson Drive in Jacksonville and, according to its website, is “one of America’s largest retailers of clearance and overstock merchandise.”
ollie’s has a great book section, with everything from children’s books to novels to self-help books. many of the books are new and often by popular authors. hardcover book prices average $4-$5.

The Salvation Army has a small but mighty book section with many hidden gems.
