The debut novel in the series is titled ‘Payback is a Mutha’. the kensington publication had released this book in the year 2006. the book shows the life of a woman who believes that she has everything in life, but she has many things to lose, including her best friend as well as life her. The main characters include Shan and Brianna, who seem to be no different from each other. With her closet always full of Prada, Chanel and Gucci items, Brianne always thinks the men in her life are just to finance her lifestyle. Shan, on the other hand, works in a men’s prison to earn her own money. she prefers low quality items compared to what she wears brianna. but despite all the differences in their appearance, both shan and brianna are like sisters and help each other when they need it. Brianna believes that she could achieve anything in life with the help of lies. lying, she gets almost everything in life, including cars, clothes, and sex. she doesn’t mind hurting anyone doing it. As the stakes seem to be high in these trying times, very few people are expected to remain standing at the end. And with her determination and dedication, Shan is desperate to be one of them.
