1. caliber library location on windows/mac
If you’ve ever added any eBooks to caliber, it will generate a folder called “caliber library” automatically. all your added eBooks, the converted eBooks will be stored in the default caliber library location. where is the “caliber library” on windows or mac?

click on any book in your caliber library; Your detailed information will be displayed in the right column. then click “click to open” besides the “path” option.

2. how to change caliber library location
You are not allowed to change the default caliber location that stored your converted caliber books, but if you need to, you can do it this way.
1 simply copy all the data from the caliber library folder and then save it to the new new folder.
remember to copy the metadata.db file because it stores all the metadata of your ebooks.

2 go to caliber>>caliber library menu>> change/create library.
click the “folder” icon in the pop-up windows and navigate to the new folder that stored your caliber books and metadata.
done, your old caliber library will still be there, but you will have a new caliber library with the same name as your new caliber eBooks folder. and you can switch between these two libraries in your caliber.
3. advanced tutorial: sync caliber library between computers
Is there a way to keep the caliber library in sync between two computers? Sure, if you can transfer your caliber library to your cloud storage and then set it as the new caliber library, you can always access your caliber library from any computer. let’s see how we can make this happen.
1 Download and install the cloud storage app.

2 Create a new folder called “caliber cloud library” on your onedrive and then copy and paste all the data from your original caliber library into the “caliber cloud library” folder. then wait until all data has been successfully transferred to your onedrive storage.
3 Go back to caliber, click “caliber library” on the top menu bar, then fill in the location of “caliber cloud library” and click “ok”. then the caliber cloud library has been set up on a computer. now close caliber on this computer and give it some time to sync the metadata from your caliber library. otherwise you’ll end up with a tangled library.
4 On any other computer where you want to access the caliber cloud library, repeat the steps above. then in the same onedrive library as the caliber library location and you can create your own web-based ebook library.

1 Since caliber is not a multi-user program, you will need to ensure that only one caliber instance accesses this cloud library.
2 once you’re done reading, close caliber and sync your caliber metadata. otherwise it will corrupt the caliber library database and cause inconsistency with the caliber library files.
