1. Use your preferred browser to access the amazon website, and sign in to your account if you haven’t already done so.
2. Click the menu icon in the upper left corner, which appears as three lines, to shop by category.

3. Click on “kindle e-readers and books”.
4. click “kindle books” in the “kindle store” section to browse books.
- if you already have a specific book in mind, select “kindle store” from the dropdown menu next to the search bar. enter book title or author name to search.
5. Click on the book of your choice. this will take you to its details page, where you should select the kindle version (instead of audiobook, hardcover, or paperback).
6. Click the dropdown below “deliver to:” to change the device of your choice. If you have multiple registered, another device, such as your iPhone, may be the default. purchases sent to one device must be synced with all others.
7. Click “1-Click Buy Now” to complete your purchase. your new book should automatically appear on your kindle.

You can also send books to Kindle by purchasing them on your mobile device. this allows you to shop on the go but have your new book waiting when you open your kindle.
1. Open the amazon app on your mobile device.

2. Once you’ve successfully logged in, tap the menu icon in the top left corner. the menu appears as three lines.
3. tap “shop by department”.
4. tap “kindle store”. this will take you to the book section of the online kindle store. browse the lists or search for a specific book or author.
5. Tap the book you want to buy. this will take you to the details page, where the kindle format should already be selected (as opposed to paperback or hardcover).
6. Scroll down and tap the device below “deliver to:” to switch to the kindle you want to send to. An orange bar should appear next to the selected device. click the “x” to close the popup.
7. Scroll up to the top of the page and tap “1-Click Buy Now” to complete your purchase and send the book to your desktop.
