prayer books can also be given to miriel, shepherdess of vows. miriel resides in front of the church of votes on the east island of liurna de los lagos. they’ll tell the player some funny stories if asked, and they’ll offer the same spells for the same tomes.

At this time, it is unclear if there is any difference between giving prayer books to one npc or the other. they teach the same enchantments for the same price and seem to serve this purpose.

elden ring enchantments do everything from heal to damage, buff and weaken. each prayer book comes with a central theme and two or three new spell options available for sale.
The assassin’s prayer book can be found behind the statue of the second imp in the cellar of the round table, with the use of three keys. teaches the assassin’s approach, which silences the caster’s footsteps, and the darkness, which obscures them with magic.
The Godskin Prayer Book is in a locked chest on a roof just outside the tower wall. teaches Black Flame and Black Flame Blade, both of which use fire as a weapon.
The Fire Monk’s Prayer Book rests on a corpse at the Fire Monk’s Southern Outpost. contains two more fire spells, or, flame and surge, or flame, which burn nearby enemies.

The Giant’s Prayer Book is at the top of the Guardians’ garrison, on top of the tower behind Arghanthy. teach the giants, the flame carries you and the flame, upon them, which continue the trend of fire-based attack spells.
The Two Finger Prayer Book is on the first floor of the fortified mansion in Leyndell Royal Capital. Teaches two healing enchantments, Lord’s Heal and Lord’s Aid.
The Dragon Cult Prayer Book is the only one that teaches three spells. Dropped by a Golden Knight in Southern Liurnia of the Lakes. Contains lightning lance, blade bolt, and electrified weaponry.
