The Best Devotions for Women in 2022 – Tshanina Peterson

get into the word in 10 minutes a day with these devotionals for women. I have been through each of these devotionals and can personally recommend them.

what if I told you that you can transform your day with just 10 minutes a day?

It really is possible and as simple as grabbing a devotional and your bible and spending a few minutes with the Lord.

How do I know this is true?

You are reading: Best devotional books for women

There have been seasons in my life where I fell off the wagon and didn’t have my morning quiet time with the Lord. when he picked it up a few days or even weeks later, he would transform. the words would fly off the pages and speak deep to my heart. And I’ll be honest, I was surprised at how much smoother my day would be.

I’ve seen the transformation in my life and I want the same for you!

why are devotions or a daily quiet time with the lord so important?

My pastor explained it best!

Imagine a sailboat on the water. unless the sailboat has its sails up, it will not move and will be stuck in the water. but once the captain hoists the sails, his ship will begin to fly.

Just like the sailboat that keeps its sails lowered, when we don’t spend time with the Lord every day, we get stuck and our faith doesn’t grow.

The next time you sit down to rest, hoist the sail in your heart and imagine yourself sailing with Jesus, learning more about him and growing closer to him.

at the end of each day’s devotional, sarah includes verses that reference the scripture she used to write the devotional. I use them to dig into the word and often read the verses before and after (or even the entire chapter) to get the full context of the original scripture.

This prayer journal is the perfect complement to the devotions I shared earlier.
