each lesson includes:

  • make it stick! parent sheet: so mom and dad know what the kids are learning each week and look like a star teacher who has thought of everything.
  • memory verse: so you can make sure the kids get the scriptures into their minds and hearts each week and you can feel like every lesson was a success, even when it seems like 90% of the lesson time is spent saying things like “calm down”, “let’s be quiet”, “hands to yourself!”
  • Spoof or Puppet Show: so you have a way to easily connect the lesson with your hands-on, visual learners. no theater crew? No problem! simply hand out the script to the children. they will have a lot of fun and think you are the best.
  • craft activity: so you can give the kids a physical reminder of the Bible lesson (and give yourself an activity to keep them busy until mommy and daddy get back!)
  • game: so that the children do not leave and say that the church is boring. games are very important to help keep children interested. our large group games always include a “what’s the point?” section. to help you connect the game with the lesson.
  • large group lesson: so you can present the Bible story in a clear and fun way, which means you can now enjoy on Saturday nights instead of stressing over preparing for a lesson.
  • small group discussion: so you can figure out who was paying attention and who was talking to their neighbor. just kidding, this is a great way to build deeper relationships with your kids after each lesson, which means you’ll care about them so much you’ll cry like a baby when they graduate and go to high school 🙁
