rory is a forensic reconstructionist and she is very good at what she does. part of what her job entails is taking on unsolved homicide cases and trying to find out more about them. she does this by gathering crime scene details, often ones that were overlooked by others at the time.
His father also recently passed away, a sad time for rory. she’s in her law office after he’s buried, cleaning up some of her stuff. While she’s there, she receives a phone call that marks the beginning of her involvement in a case that has been unsolved for decades.
It was the year 1979 and it was summer. During that significant summer, five Chicago-area women went missing. It looks like there was foul play involved. a predator was nearby, and they were very careful not to leave any tracks, or bodies, in their wake. the man or woman was nicknamed the thief.
Nothing emerged about this case until the police received a package. It came from someone named Angela Mitchell, a mysterious person they knew nothing about. Her investigations seemed to reveal a murderer, but she disappeared without a clue before they could talk to her.
Forty years have passed. Now the thief is facing probation for Angela’s murder. however, rory found a file at the law office that indicates there is more to this case than meets the eye. Rory keeps making new discoveries and is very much into this case. she wants to know where she went she angela.
