Author Kline was born in Cambridge, United Kingdom in 1964 and spent her early years growing up in the southern United States of Cambridge and Maine. He completed his graduation from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and then enrolled in a Master of Literature at the University of Cambridge. Later, author Kline joined the University of Virginia to earn an MFA. There, she was listed as a Henry Hoyns Fellow for Fiction Writing. Author Kline is a recipient of the Geraldine Dodge Foundation Fellowship. Kline has been Writer-in-Residence at Fordham University for a period of 4 years between 2007 and 2011. During this time, she was involved in teaching literature and creative writing at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
