#1. try searching in “playlists”
If you’re looking for music inspiration on spotify, your first stop might be playlists, and searching for audiobooks is no different. playlists are one of the best places to start, as there are tons of audiobooks in one place, making it much easier to navigate.
In the search bar of your app, simply type the word “audiobooks”. some auto-suggestions will appear, but go to the “view all playlists” tab to see the full list of audiobook playlists on offer.
Spotify has some officially curated audiobook playlists. there is one simply titled “audiobooks”, which has a large selection of popular titles, but there are also playlists for a large selection of topics and genres. some of these are made by spotify, while others are playlists created by people who have a particular interest in different types of audiobooks.
There’s a best sellers playlist, a classics playlist, as well as playlists for all sorts of genres, from sci-fi to romance, young adult, and more. There’s even a playlist of audiobooks narrated in “Queens’ English” for those who want to brush up on their elocution.

Usually when we browse spotify we think of “artists” as musicians, but there are plenty of famous authors who also appear in the “artists” list, with tons of their best works converted to audiobook format.
if your favorite author is well known, chances are good that he’ll be there. try typing their name in the search bar under the “artists” tab. with any luck, you’ll already be a featured artist and be able to search for all your audiobook titles in one place.

how to listen to a full audiobook on spotify?
If you’re not used to navigating spotify, trying to figure out how to listen to an entire audiobook in order can be a bit confusing. there may be random chapters in the list, for example chapter 4 or chapter 7, but of course you’ll want to start from the beginning and listen to the audiobook in the intended order. so what to do?
Simply click on the title of the audiobook you want to listen to and go to the “full album” tab. Since Spotify is primarily a music streaming platform, full audiobooks are called albums, and each section or chapter is classified as “tracks”.
As soon as you’ve clicked the “play all” tab below the “album” section, you’re ready to go. the audiobook will play from start to finish.
premium vs. free
Note that if you haven’t signed up for Spotify Premium yet and are using the free version, it’s more difficult to find audiobooks that play in order. Just like when listening to music, the free version of Spotify doesn’t give you as much control over the order in which you can listen to tracks. And of course, you’ll also have to listen to some pretty annoying ads.
