There are games galore in this exciting sequel. unfortunately, they are all being created and played by a ruthless and twisted killer. there are assassins who work on a very basic level where it involves blunt force trauma and murder, while other assassins’ methods and desires are a bit more intricate, and even more complex and difficult.

a woman is trapped in a box somewhere in washington, d.c. area. she is trapped underground and buried alive, barely breathing the limited oxygen that is available to her in the box. obviously, she has not put herself there; she has been buried alive by a sadistic killer in some kind of abominable game.

meanwhile, in quantum, the f.b.i. receives a coded message from the person who kidnapped the woman. The killer wants to play a game with the f.b.i., and it seems they’ll have no choice but to go ahead if they want to save her. If the task force can decipher the clues, they will be able to locate the tomb and thus save it.

With the best cryptologists and cryptanalysts on the case, they work tirelessly to solve the puzzle. Finally, they crack the code and Hawk and Meg Jennings must race to get to the crime scene before it’s too late. but maybe all the clues are not so honest and the game is a bit heavier than they thought. the killer is at work and the clues lead them astray. they solve the puzzle, but it’s too late: the woman is dead, a loser in the horrible game of murderer.

the f.b.i. he thinks he will contact them again, and they are right. another message arrives and another person has been kidnapped and hidden in a place. this is the killer’s pattern. every kidnapped person risks death if she can’t be found, and that’s when the special agent breaks protocol to bring his expensive sister. Cara is a brilliant person and a genius when it comes to puns and codes, and she works to crack the clues. Meg is putting her career on the line, but at this point, she and hawk can’t let someone else die at the hands of this guy.

Can they catch this diabolical villain? At this point, Meg and Hawk must risk everything to catch a killer and bring him to justice, even if it means his jobs.
