The second book in the series is called Overseas Shopaholic, released in 2001 and later published in US as Shopaholic Takes Manhattan in 2002. It picks up from the previous book as Becky experiences the good life with her boyfriend. Luke, whom she met at a press conference. She also has a well-paying job as a financial advisor on television and strikes up good terms with her bank manager, Derek. Events quickly change when Derek retires and Luke decides to explore opportunities in New York. Becky’s world changes when she moves to the new city and she is happier than ever. she gains the attention of the employees and makes big sales. As this book draws to a close, Becky has returned to pick up a package delivered to her old job and discovers deceitful plans made to bring Luke down. she sets up a meeting at the airport and gives him a tip before they finally make up.
The third book was shopaholic gets married in 2002 followed by shopaholic & sister (2004) then shopaholic & Baby in 2007. These books mainly describe Becky’s life with Luke and her wedding capped off by minor location drama. After a ten-month honeymoon, Becky and her husband, who promptly falls back into work mode and cut his hair, return home. She promises not to overspend, but her problems begin with the arrival of two trucks full of souvenirs that she bought during the trip. Her parents also introduce her to a sister she never had, one from her father’s previous relationship. There are several episodes of drama as Becky discovers the many differences she has with Ella’s sister Jess Ella. They quarrel, then reconcile when she realizes that Jess’s rock collecting and recumbent adventures in nature that she thought were boring are actually a hobby. in the 2007 release, she is heavily pregnant and her sister recommends using second-hand baby products as a more conservative approach. Mini Shopaholic’s last release was in 2010 and basically involves Ella’s little daughter Minnie de Ella, who grows up with a mischievous demeanor. she is practically uncontrollable and has been kicked out of four Christmas grottoes. shopaholic to the stars is expected to be released in fall 2014.
