the plot against romance is composed in the modern writing style. It will appeal to fans who enjoy both the Star Wars movies and new writing styles.

As the book unfolds, we not only find the connections between the spy and the cardinal, but we learn more about Phasma’s roots and the events that led her to become who she is.

leia organa believed that the victory of the rebellion that defeated the empire in the skies of endor was the beginning of a lasting peace. however, this hope seems distant after decades of infighting and partisan gridlock in the senate of the new republic.
gray nails general leia organa’s voice and character so much that i can hear carrie fisher narrating the book in my mind as i read this. leia, now a respected senator must deal with dangers to the fledgling democracy from both within and without.
this book does an excellent job of describing the political workings of the republic and how things got to where they are before tfa. Bloodline is a critical and essential book for any Star Wars fan’s collection.

I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. That’s a prequel to Rogue One and it only reveals how Galen Erso’s scientific work attracted Orson Krennic.
krennic is about the top secret death star project. Furthermore, scientific knowledge and erso projects are what he wants. The book details how Krennic shot Galen, Lyra, and Jyn along with the Republic. The Republic and the Separatists tried to outwit each other, creating more and more lethal technology over time.
Although Galen thinks he’s making something valuable that will be used once and for all, Lyra begins to suspect something else. Since we didn’t get much from Lyra in Rogue One, I really enjoyed seeing her personality develop in this book. If you enjoyed Rogue One, this shouldn’t be overlooked.

soule and sliney not only paint a picture of young ben’s evolution throughout this limited series, but they also introduce us to all the knights of ren seen in the rise of skywalker, ben’s fellow padawans in training and Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in a way we’ve never seen him before.
the task of the soul in writing this book was enormous. It was almost impossible to imagine the pressure Soule had to put on his pen to get the origin story of the sequel trilogy completed. but he complied.

revan is also one of the best star wars books. It focuses on Revan as conqueror, hero and traitor, villain and savior. Revan is a starfighter who fled Coruscant to defeat the Mandalorians.
Revan returned to the Republic as a disciple of the dark side, determined to destroy it. the jedi council saved his life, but he was left with no memories. Even though the Jedi Council erased his memories of him, his nightmares continued to haunt him, to the point of causing him extreme fear.
The story follows the main character from the first game as they try to find out more about their past and the strange nightmares that haunted them.

the heir of the jedi is a new canon book that focuses exclusively on the saga of luke skywalker. the story takes place between a new hope & The empire strikes back, as Luke fights through Jedi training without a master and with very few resources.
There are many exciting plot twists and turns, with Luke trudging through the galaxy in classic Star Wars style. Although the pacing is slow, it’s still a fun novel that feels like a Star Wars story.
The book is mostly about character studies, and Kevin Hearne uses them to show off his writing skills. this book seems to have gotten rid of the stoic, gray-haired farmer of a new hope.
He is replaced by a young man interested in his place in the larger fight against the empire. he doesn’t have a mentor to help him in his jedi training. These insecurities make Luke more relatable and less like an archetype from Shakespeare.
The book is mostly about character study, and Kevin Hearne uses those skills to great effect.
