Winner of multiple awards courtesy of his best-selling literary works, Wally Lamb is a celebrated American writer. He was born in October 1950 in Norwich upon Connecticut, United States. Lamb, who is in his sixties, attended Norwich Free Academy, a school to which he would later return to teach English in the early 1970s; Generally, Lamb, who juggles teaching and writing, taught high school in a career spanning more than two decades.
