The series takes place in the Mountain Man era two hundred years ago and is set near Yellowstone. people can time travel and end up having romances with other people.
“The Yellowstone Heart Song” is the first novel in the “Yellowstone” series, which was published in 2012. This novel stars Daniel Osborne and Aimee Donovan. Aimee Donovan, an avid backpacker and nurse, is offered the opportunity of a lifetime. A patient where she works can send her back two whole centuries, so she can spend three months in the Yellowstone desert during the beginning of the Mountain Man era. the only rule is that she can’t tell anyone that she’s from the future.
How did this white lady appear out of nowhere in the remote wilderness of the Rocky Mountains? daniel osborne, a trapper, has an initial instinct to lead this mysterious and unconventional woman away from every harsh reality that lies in her mountains. As he struggles with her growing attraction to her, he is frustrated by all her lies and secrets. Daniel shows Aimee parts of Yellowstone that he has never experienced before.

She ends up torn by her feelings for him, and by exposing the secret she keeps would destroy everything he knows to be true. Her three months at Yellowstone are about to end and she has a dilemma. she can stay with the boy who opened her eyes to a whole new world or go back to her own time. the choice ends up being made by her, and it will change her lives forever.
This is a rare novel for some, since it came out and did everything right for them. each of the characters feels real and tells a great story. peggy henderson is able to immerse you in the story and keep your attention throughout the process.
“Yellowstone Redemption” is the second novel in the “Yellowstone” series, which was published in 2012. This novel stars Chase Russell and Sarah Osborne. City boy and star athlete Chase Russell is well on his way to total self-destruction. he is having problems with drugs and alcohol. doing the community service sentence he got in yellowstone national park is the last thing he wants to do. After spending a night drinking in the park, he wakes up only to discover that all of his friends are gone and everything around him has changed.
sarah osborne grew up in the rugged wilderness of yellowstone. she is capable of tracking and hunting with the most experienced types. the Indians leave a guy near death on her doorstep, and she’s not sure what to think about it. she is sure that she comes from the future and looks for any way to get back home.
chase has no idea how he ended up time traveling to the past. he is not sure what to do when it comes to surviving without the comforts of modern times. Finding food just means heading to the nearest fast food place, not hunting or searching for it.
Time and time again, your own will will be tested to survive in this untamed land. Will her growing love of him for a brave woman who shows him what it truly means to be a man will be enough to keep him going at this point? Or will he be determined to return to the tranquility and comforts that he will find in the future?
For some, this was even better than the first in the series. Each of the experiences and tests that Chase and Sarah go through make their relationship grow between them.

“yellowstone awakens” is the third novel in the “yellowstone” series, which was published in 2012. this novel stars kyle russell and kate ellen devereaux. a man who will risk everything, including everything he has worked for and his life, in order to free the woman he loves from an impossible situation.
kyle russell has worked with leading men, led quite a few scouting expeditions through yellowstone country, and pissed off more than his fair share of brave indians in his time. he will never duplicate the legendary achievements of his father. he is captured by a group of Raven warriors. any plans he might have had to escape are dashed after a white lady is brought into camp.
kate ellen devereaux is now on the run. his guardian has died and is lost in the yellowstone desert. an Indian war party discovered it, before taking it to the camp and throwing it at the feet of a white prisoner. her plans to escape from her will have to include her too, now.
Kyle’s father may have been a legend in this territory, but he never had to deal with an oriental woman full of secrets. one that disrupts kyle’s plans to turn yellowstone into a national park. Getting her to see that the two of them are meant to be together might be a more difficult challenge than getting support for the park idea.
Kate can’t afford to show any interest in any boy, despite her growing attraction to her rural savior. Does her ultimate reason for rejecting him spell doom in some way for the growing love they both have for each other, as well as the idea of the national park? Or can Kyle find a way to rescue them both?
this one is great as you can see kyle as she takes kate out of herself a lot in this one and makes her a much better character. she goes from being a quiet and withdrawn woman to a strong and determined person who is able to deal with her own problems.
