It’s that time of year again where (this time) I’m sharing middle grade books to read in 2022! I am delighted to bring you this excellent list of books that match my interests. In this list, you’ll find 100 books I have on my radar as a contemporary, science fiction, fantasy (but not magic), and realist mid-grade fiction reader. If our interests align, then you’ll be quick to add many of these picks to your TBR!

note: As with all advance book lists, I haven’t read all of these books (more like 1-5 of them), but I’ve done some research using in-depth information from the editor and these are stories that pique my interest.
